The Quest, Part2: The Journey Begins

Zack and Fury startd swimming for the shore aswell

Hikari darted for the shore. She tried to go fast because her clothes and her bag started to get heavy and weigh her down. Skye swam after her, trying to stay with her master.

Zack looked at Hikari and swam over to her "Ill carry your bag?"

"I'm fine..." Hikari said, slowly running out of breath.

Zack laughed and dove under and set Hikari on his back "I'll give ya a break" and he swam over to the shore with the foxes behind him

Cai had already reached the shore, and was looking back to make sure everyone was swimming well.

"Sure took ya a while to get here Cai, Don't tell me you've gone soft." John said smileing in a frendly sorta way.

Cai rolled his eyes. "You had a head start. You were 'scouting ahead', remember?" he said.

Casey quietly followed the crew, looking behind him to make sure they weren't leaving anyone behind. As soon as he got to shore with the others, he grabbed his bag of things and tried to wring it out as best as he could to get it dry. It was bad that they had to swim. It would be a little harder to move quickly when wet.

Zack got to shore and set Hikari down on shore and helped the foxes onto shore

Cai turned to Hikari and Zack. " hey, could you guys use your fire to dry us off? It's trouble-"
He was cut short by the sound of an owl hooting above him. The bird was circling the group of adventures, looking down on them with piercing brown eyes. Then, it spoke in a deep voice that sounded surprisingly human, "Brave you are, young owlets. Decided to help your world, you have. But know this, you must! Before you, great trails there are. Much about yourselves, you shall learn. To you all, luck I give. Now, go forth, you must, and start your journey." With that, the owl flew off and disappeared from sight.

ooc: Yes, i used Yoda speak...DEAL WITH IT!

"Did anyone else just hear that owl talk?" John asked with a supprised expresion.

Hikari's eyes were wide. "Mhm." She replied, confused.

Casey stared at the bird as it flew off. "Uh, is that normal?" He asked the rest of the group, not actually knowing because he was still kind of new in Skyshatter and still didn't know all of its secrets.

Hikari, still confused as hell, shook her head. "Unless it was a Shapeshifter or an Animeer, no. But I don't think anyone has the power left to change."

Cai shook his head in dismay. "First, talking owls. What's next, a centaur with a magic horn?" he muttered, then, a little louder so everyone could hear, "Well, you heard the owl guy! Let's get moving!" And with that, he headed up the beach and into the forest.

"LETS DO THIS!!" Hikari said, turning her orange and black hat backwards. She followed Cai.

John followed silently behind Hikari feeling slightly insulted by the fact that he could still shapeshift.

Feeling suddenly uncertain about this journey, Casey quickly shifted the weight of his backpack and followed the rest of the adventurers into the forest, trying to stay with them as best as he could.

ooc: Alright, topic over (unless Zack posts after this, in which case, THAT will be the end of the topic) I'll start part 3 soon, but I need a good amount of free time to post everything and an explanation on how your characters will be affected. So, the topic will be up soon, but not RIGHT NOW soon ^^
