Shade's House

"And what was this dream about?" Shade said, smoothing his hair down.

Akira gulped. "It's about that day when my parents got murdered by those vampires... and when I got forced to turn into a vampire. It keeps getting more violent every time.." She answered, still looking down at the floor.

Shade stared at the ground.

Akira grabbed the end of the shirt she had on and held it tightly, trying to comfort herself like she always did. A tear ran down her face.

"Hey... Dont cry..." Shade said, in a voice so soothing and simpathetic.

"S-Shade.." She whispered. Thinking about her dream made her cry even more. She was embarrassed. She hated it when people saw her cry.

"What?" He said softly, instead of his usual "Yes..."

She quickly got up and hugged Shade. Akira cried even more, finally letting it out instead of bottling up her tears, as she kept hugging him, holding on tight.

Shade was caught by suprise. His eyes turned red again. He closed them and didn't bother changing them. He hugged back.

Akira closed her eyes as her tears died out. She still was hugging him, holding tight, but now trembling a little.

Shade pulled away from Akira a bit. He was still holding her.

Akira opened her eyes halfway, and stared into Shade's eyes.

Shade met her gaze. And without hesitation, kissed her. He just realized what happened and pulled away. "O-Oh my god... I... I-I'm sorry!"

Akira blushed as she realized that he kissed her. She shook her head. "It's okay." She said softly with a smile. "Thank you." She said in a really quiet voice, still smiling.

"...Wait..." Shade said confused.

"Hmm?" She mumbled, tilting her head a bit.

Shade shrugged and kissed her again, but now more passionate.

Akira closed her eyes and wrapped her arms around him again.

He pulled away slightly. "It's still 11:30. Should we go to sleep?"

She opened her eyes and looked at the clock, then at Shade. "Yeah, I'm actually still tired." She answered with a smile.

"Ok." He said, sitting in the bed.

Akira sat on her side of the bed, and sighed, "I hope I don't have that dream again..".

"Me neither..." He sighed.

"Goodnight." She said with a smile, forgetting the dream, as she layed down, pulling the blanket over her.

Shade smiled and tried to sleep.
