Shade's House

Shade walked deep into the Vampire Woods. It was dark and mysterious. His cat, Moonlight, a silver cat with long fangs and red eyes, followed him, tail waving high. Shade reached a fair sized house, but didn't go inside. He sat on the porch.

Akira had been wandering around the forest. She was lost. She walked out of a bush and saw Shade sitting on a porch of a house.

Shade was looking at the barely visible night sky. He could hardly see through the thick trees.

Akira decided to walk out of the trees. She was lost, and that was the only option since it was getting late.

Shade turned his attention to her. "Akira" He called to her, calmly.

"Hi Shade." She said, walking towards him.

Shade smiled. "Hey, I forgot to ask you something."

Akira smiled back as she sat down beside Shade on the porch. "What is it?" She asked.

"How old are you?" He asked.

"Fifteen." She answered.

"Me too." Shade muttered.

Akira looked up at moon. This was one of the few spots in this forest that people could actually see the moon from.

"It's getting kinda cold..." Shade said. "Wanna come in?"

Akira looked to Shade. "Sure." She answered.

Shade opened the door for Akira, but then Moonlight sped into the house. Shade chuckled a bit.

Akira giggled at the cat, and walked in the house after it with Lunar on her shoulder.

Shade followed them inside. And looked outside for a second, then closed the door.

Lunar jumped down from Akira's shoulder, and padded towards Moonlight.

Moonlight meowed at the bottom of the stairs at Lunar. He ran up the stairs.

Lunar stopped for a second, and meowed in a stubborn tone and followed him up the stairs anyway.

Shade looked up the stairs, but then his phone rang. He went into the living room and answered it.

"Hello? Oh hey, how are you? Cool I'm fine too, but listen I cant talk right now. I have company. I'm not lying. Dude, I seriously ha-.... No, you don't understand, she's really-... Yes, it's a girl. Dude! I have to go! Ok, you're sick... I have to go! I'm gonna hang up on you! If you do I'll just disconnect the line. I have to go-... Dude... Bye! I'm hanging up now! Yes! I AM hanging up now.!" Shade hung up the phone, then unpluged the phone.

Akira giggled and walked into the living room and sat on the couch.

Shade sat next to Akira. "Wanna watch anything?" He asked.

Akira smiled. "Sure." She answered.

Shade turned on the TV. Moonlight came down the staris and onto Shade's lap.
