Another Elf in Skyshatter

There was a large commotion in the airport as a plane unloaded its passangers. A young man, not much older than sixteen, was struggling against the police offecers that were escorting him. The officers dealt with him easily enough, obviously having done this many times before. The tossed him into the airport with ease and removed his hand cuffs when the boy lost his footing and faceplanted on the tile floor. One of the officers kicked the boy in the side and muttered something that sounded like "stupid elf" before they all walked away.

A young girl was next to step off the plane, She didn't like the looks that the police officers were giving her. She nerviosly steped up to the check point and raised her hands and waited for the officers to remover her hand cuffs.

Luke coughed as he stood up. He turned around to see a girl come off the plane right after him. They made her wait a while before finally removing her handcuffs. When they finally took off the cuffs, one of the officers pushed her, the same way they had pushed Luke. The elf boy was by the girls side in an instant, in case she needed help. But the officers just walked away.

The girl caught herself on the boy So she didn't fall to the ground before quickly recoiling, blushing shyly. "I-I'm sorry." She squeeked.

"Don't worry about it," Luke said, "Are you okay? They didn't hurt you, did they?"

She looked up at the boy and noticed he was an elf then calmed down after a little bit "No, I'm fine. They didn't hurt me." She replied as she brushed the hair out of her face.

"That's good," Luke said, stepping away from the girl. "I guess I'll see you later then," he said, turning to go get his stuff from baggage claim.

"W-Wait! Could you mabey walk me to my new home? I already have the address. I'm sorry to ask so suddenly! It's just I don't like the weird looks people give me, my mom always said it was becaus I was pretty.. But I know Your an elf too so you won't look at me weird right!? Oh! I havn't even told you my name yet! How embarassing.. A-Anyway! My name is Liyra. What's your name?" She sorta blurted out akwardly, tripping over her words as she went along before finally finishing and blushing shyly, realizeing how akward and spaztic she had just sounded.

Luke held in a laugh as the girl let loose a flood of questions. "Sure, I'll walk you to your house. My name's Luke," he said, turning back to her, "It's nice to meet you, I guess."

"Nice to meat you too Luke." Liyra repied as she walked over to Luke and showed him the form with her new address on it. "I guess we'll just have to try and find our way around." She said, realizeing that neither of them knew where they were going.

Luke read the paper, realizing it was right next to where he was supposed to live, but he didn't mention that. "Yeah, I guess we will. I wish people here where more helpfully," he said. Then he looked around the airport. "We should probably get our bags," he said, walking over to baggage claim.

Liyra just followed Luke to the baggage claim, not wanting to tell him that the backpack on her back was all she really had besides her teddybear which she suffed in her backpack before she got off the pane out of embarassment.

Luke got his bag and stepped back to let Liyra get hers. When she didn't try to find a bag, he realized that she didn't have anything but her backpack. Trying to ignore that fact, he looked around the huge airport. "Any idea how to get out of here?" he asked.

"Uh... Um..." Liyra said as she looked around before walink up to an airport person and asking for directions; she was affraid that the person was going to hurt her.

The airport official, despite what Liyra thought, was actually rather nice and pointed them in the direction of the exit.
Luke had followed liyra to ask for directions, so he got the directions too. When the official finished Luke walked off in the general direction they were supposed to be going in.
