Le bloodsucking topic. >:{D

Akira sat on a dock, looking out to the glimmering lake. It was about evening, and the sun was just disappearing under the horizon.

Shade ran over to Akira. His footsteps silent until hitting to dock. "Akira." He called to her.

Akira turned her head around. "Shade." She called lightly back.

"I need... some blood...." Shade hesitated to say. "There's a new person who's staying at Hikari's house and I don't want to hurt anyone..."

"Oh, I see. Then come over here." Akira said as she turned around and moved her long white hair out of the way of the right side on her neck.

Shade hesitated. He hated doing this, but it's for the best. He bit into Akira's kneck, taking away enough blood to last him the night.

Akira closed her eyes while he bit into her, and took the blood away. It hurt a bit, but she didn't mind.

Shade wiped the blood from his mouth. He looked down. "Thanks..." He said quietly.

"It's nothing." She said, trying not to wince in pain from the stinging. She glanced over to the lake.

"I feel really uncomfortable doing that, y'know." Shade told Akira.

"But.. it's better if you do.. better for the both of us.." Akira said.

"Yeah... I guess you're right..." Shade said. He sighed. "Well I gatta get back. See you later?" He said, starting to walk backwards.

"Wait, Shade. I want to just hang out for once." She said.

"Ok." Shade said, walking back to her. He stood in front of her, and held the sides of her arms.

Akira blinked as she looked up at him.

A smile peaked out of the corner of Shade's mouth "What do you wanna do?" He asked softly.

Akira shrugged. "I don't know, but as long as it's with you, I'm fine with it." She said.

"You wanna go to cave?" He asked.

"Sure." Akira replied.

"Ok, lets go." Shade said. He walked to Nevermore Cave with Akira.

Soon, they arrived at the Nevermore Cave.

Shade looked over the cliff at the lake. Since they're vampires, falling into the water at great hight wouldn't hurt much. And they could get back up easily. Shade took off his shirt and fell backwards off the cliff. "WOOHOO!" He screamed as he fell, then soon hit the water.

Akira took off her shoes and socks, and looked over the cliff. "Watch out! I'm coming!" She yelled as she jumped down. Akria looked like she was flying as her hair blew up behind her.

Shade smiled and moved out of the way as she fell into the water. He laughed.

Akira came back up to the top of the water. "That was so cool!" She said. It was her first time jumping off of there.
