Reunited at Last

"Is that why you were sleeping on the stairs?" Shade said, half jokingly.

"Yeah." Minata replied.

"Oh, well don't worry about it." Shade said. "There's a bedroom upstairs next to the bathroom, unless you still wanna sleep on the stairs." He joked.

"Aren't you mad at me? I said all that.." Minata said, still a little sleepy.

"Honestly, I'm not." Shade said. "But at the time, I was kinda tempted to- nevermind..." Shade said.

"What?" She asked lowly.

"Nevermind. I wasn't thinking strait at the time. And I was hungry... Thats why I left. Cause I didn't want to hurt you." Shade said. He felt a little strange, telling someone that he wanted to kill them while avoiding the actual word.

"Oh, right.. because you're a vampire.." Minata said.

Shade nodded. "You should go to sleep." Shade suggested.

"Yeah, I think I should." She said as she stood up. "What room again?" Minata asked.

"Upstairs next to the bathroom." Shade said, going to the couch and lying down.

"Are you going to sleep on the couch?" Minata asked.

"I always do when I sleep here." Shade replied.

"Oh.. well, goodnight." Minata said as she walked up the stairs and to her room.
