Reunited at Last

The gate opened and a 16-year-old-looking boy was thrown to the ground by one lean looking cop, and one muscular cop with a mustache. The boy was blind in one eyes, had cat ears and a tail. (XDDD) He got up and tried dusting humself off. "Oh look, he's attempting attack!" The lean cop lied, and wacked him in the head with his nightstick. He fell down, almost loosing conciousness. Hikari and Shade ran up to the cop that had beaten him. "You wanna die, buddy?" Said Shade, twistedly as always. "You mess with him, you mess with us." The muscular cop tried to grab Shade , but Shade turned around and held him up by his collar. Hikari was over by Sora, seeing if he was ok.

Minata was walking through the gate with one of the guards holding her shoulder tightly. She was daydreaming. She heard something happen, and looked aside. She focused her eyes on the boy who was on the ground. "Is he okay?" She asked as she tried to run up to him, but the guard held her back. The guard pushed her away, then walked away. Minata didn't fall, but ignored him and walked over to Sora.

Sora was holding his head. Hikari helped him up. "Who are you?" She questioned Minata.

Shade had the two cops on the ground crying. He laughed.

"I'm Minata!" She said with a purr as she flicked her tail.

Sora didn't talk. He opened his eyes, revealing his faded blue eye. The one that is blind.

Shade went over to Sora, after kicking the two abusive guards back into the gate.

Minata looked at Sora's blind eye. She said nothing.

Sora sighed. He then noticed Minata, and with wide eyes, stood behind Hikari as if she'd protect him though he was a bit taller than her. Shade walked over and stood by Hikari. "I took care of the guards who traumatized him. We can get him back to normal, right?" He said. Hikari noded.

Minata blinked. She seemed to be daydreaming a little.

"Well uh... we better be going..." Hikari said to Minata. "Would you like to come?" Shade tried to protest, but decided not to.

Minata snapped out of her spacing out. "Huh, wha?" She said, "Oh, right. I guess if it's fine with you!" She said, smiling.

"Alright..." Hikari said.


They all got into the car. Hikari was driving, Shade was in the leat next to her. Sora sat next to Minata. He looked out the window.

Minata started to quietly hum a song as she stared out the window beside her.

Everyone felt extremly akward. Sora stared intensly out the window. Shade closed his eyes to hide the temtation of killing. Hikari just locked her eyes forward as she drove to her house.

It's so quiet.. I wonder if I should say something.. Minata thought as she stopped humming and looked at the other three in the car.

Shade opened his eyes, showing an intense deep red, them closed them again a couple seconds later. Sora's ears twitched.

Minata gulped. "S-So, you're a neko like me?" She said to Sora.

"...Y-Yeah.." Sora said. His ears twitched.

Minata felt less nervous. "What's your name?" She asked, smiling.

"Sora" He said. His tail flicked.

"Sora.. that's a nice name." Minata said with a purr.

"Thanks." Sora said, still not looking at Minata. He didn't want to talk much, because he was still sort of scared of other people.

Minata looked back out the window again, noticing he didn't want to talk much. She let out a light sigh.

Once they got to Hikari's house, Sora's eyes widened. "This is alot nicer than what you lived in when you were in New York." He said in awe. "Which reminds me, do you miss New York at all?"
"No." Hikari said. "New York was a horrible place. Everyone hated us. And what made it worse was that the people there would try and..." Hikari's voice trailed off.
"I hated New York." Shade growled. "They'd beat me every day until I lost my mind. They had to put me in freaking jouvie because I was so unstable." As he talked his voice rose.
Sora nodded. "That was a sad day for me and Hikari. I heard you made a new friend in jouvie. How is he?"
"Dead"
"How? What happened?"
"I killed him."
Sora's eyes widened. "Why?!
"Drop it."

Minata looked over to Shade, then Hikari, she still didn't say anything.

"Shade, sometimes I just dont understand you." Sora said getting out of the car.
"You're not supposed to." Shade said, getting out of the car after him.
Hikari got out of the car. "Shade, dont be confusing." She laughed. She turned to Minata. "You coming?"
