Exploring Nevermore Cave

Akira relaxed and sat in a chair, waiting for the nurse to come back and do something.

John began coughing again and the scars on his neck started to bleed slightly, it wasn't normal for a Shape-Shifter's form to backfire so badly.

Akira noted the blood. She looked away. Even being herself, she couldn't help but be attracted to blood.

Ashley poked her head out the door. Coming back inside, she muttered angrily,"How long does it take to get a doctor?"

John started coughing harder and the bleeding got worse.

Ashley poked her head out again and yelled," I need a doctor in here!" She then went back over to John and tried to figure out what to do.

Akira stood up. "Obviously those stupid people aren't going to do anything." she said, walking up to John. She wondered what to do. "If the bleeding increases more, and he loses to much, then he's going to die!" She said. Akira looked around the room.

"Shh, I need to think," Ashley said. She was trained for this type of stuff, but she'd never been in this situation before.

"You need to cauterize the wound, unfortunatly you cant just seal up the outer part of the wound you would have to seal the intire wound, but only a higley skilled fire caster could do that, or he could easilly do it himself if he could fire cast but..."Lucy said shyley as she walked into the room.

Akira turned to face Lucy. She let out a heavy sigh. She disliked her. "Wouldn't something like magical energy be able to close the wound? Then we could get that blood package thing, and connect that to him to restore his blood.." She said, thinking.

"Dangit! We need Hikari or Akio," Ashley was mad.

"Unfortunatley you can't, he's lost all of his powers, and that's not going to work because that's what's causing this problem, subject him to more high ammounts magical enery and he'll..." Said Lucy.

"Oh.. right.." She murmured.

"Do any of you know a fire caster?" Ashley said through gritted teeth.

"This may be because of those soul crystals John is always going on about." Mummbled lucy, imediatly trying to push the thought away.

Akira sat back down in the chair, feeling helpless.

"Wait, soul crystals? He was in Nevermore cave! Looking at the crystals! Of course!" Ashley said, now realizing the problem.

"Yes, Soul Crystals, John has a theory that we are all humans with powers, but out powers are only borrowed, and that there are Soul Crystals spread out all across the world of SkyShatter and it's from those crystals that we get our powers, although Vampires and Elves are different because those are acctually either a disease Like Vampirisim or a race like Elves. He must have gone into Nevermore Cave loking for the forever Soul Crystals, he thought of this theory after his Human girlfriend well now she's his wife but anyway she used to be human but she turned into a water fairy after she touched a Large blue crystal on the beach." Said Lucy, explaining John's Theory

Ashley thought for a moment. "That makes sense. If he touched one of those stones, then he would gain that power, right?"

"Could something like that really exist?" Akira thought out loud, crossing her arms and closing her eyes to think about it.

"Only problem is, I inherited my powers from my mother. My little sister got her powers from our dad," Ashley said.

Akira still had her eyes closed, deep in thought. "Maybe.." She said under her breath.

"According to Johns theory you got your powers from the Soul Crystals when you were born, the powers your mother and father had just made you more likely to recive the powers you did. The problem here is that he had changed his lungs into a special pair of gills so that he could breath the purple fog without any adverse effects so if he had touched A Soul Crystal then his Shapeshifting powers would slowly become permanently Dormant while the power of that specific Crystal took over, this is the result of that inbetween period, his lungs are back to normal but he has deep gashes in his neck." Said Lucy as she made John swallow a powder and his bleeding slowed considerably.

Ashley nodded. The doctor finally came in, with a smile on his face, "So, what seems to be the problem?"

"Our friend is slowly bleeding out over there and Your being a lazy bum! That's what's wrong! and were the only reason he's still alive!" Yelled Lucy as she pointed towards John, she wanted to break the doctor's nose.
