Sittin around (Cai and Mika only)

Cai sat on a park bench, for no real reason. No one was around anymore, because of the recent vampire attacks. He had his sword on his belt. The wind was blowing slightly.

Mika walked across the long grass in front of Cai, not noticing him.

I wonder what she's doing Cai thought. He made a light pulse in front of the girl, trying to get her attention.

Mika turned around and looked at him. She blinked a couple of times.

"Hi" Cai said, waving to her,"what are you doing out here all alone?"

"I'm just wandering around I guess." She answered shyly.

"You should really be more careful. There are...Evil people around." Cai said.

Mika decided not to tell him that she was part of them. "I know, but I guess I'm okay." She tried to explain.

"Hmm" Cai muttered. This girl was pretty, and a little cluless. She must not understand the situation.

Mika walked up to him, and sat beside him on the bench. "I'm Mika." She said to him.

"I'm Cai" he said kindly, smiling.

Mika smiled at him. "Nice to meet you." She said.

"Nice to meet you too. What are you?" he asked, trying not to sound rude, then, to clarify, added "I'm a light caster."

"I'm just a human.." She said, looking away.

"Oh, that's okay." he said, feeling a little nervous.

Mika felt shy around him. She accidently leaned on him, but then quickly sat up straight. "S-Sorry." She said.

"N-no, it's o-okay," Cai said, glowing slightly. Was that a stutter? Cai never stutters!

Mika blushed a bit. She held her hand up to her face. She usually never is like this!

Cai wanted to say something, but he couldn't get any words out, so he sat there, looking awkward.

Mika fiddled with her thumbs. "Um.." She mumbled.

Just go ahead and ask! Cai thought as he sat there. Finally, the words left his mouth, "so, are you doing something tomorrow night?"

Mika remembered that she had to go do something with Scar, but she could just say that she was scouting out the area some more to him. "I'm free." She said.

"Okay, can you meet me in Windtown?" he asked, trying to keep the nervousness out of his voice.

"S-Sure!" Mika stuttered.

Cai stood up, "okay, I'll see you later then" He had regained his composure, thank goodness, and was able to smile.
