Bath Time!

Tired and quickly becoming worn out, Benjamin finally landed near the river, still holding onto Akira. "Hey," he said to her to see if she was awake. "You there?"

Lunar jumped off of his shoulder and walked towards the river and pawed at it. Akira was still passed out.

He looked at Lunar and nodded, walking up to the rivers edge where it was just deep enough to immerse most of Akira's body. Carefully, he set her down in the chilly water and started to wipe the blood off of her arms and legs.

Lunar watched him and blinked.

Akira gained consciousness after awhile and opened her eyes. "Huh?" She said.

By the time Akira woke up, Benjamin was already done washing her off but he hadnt lifted her from the water. "Hey sleepy head." He said down to her with a slight grin on his face.

"W-Who are you?" She stuttered, still a bit spaced out.

It took him a second to answer for he picked her up carefully and placed her on the bank. "I'm Benjamin Irusaki. Not that it matters." He mumbled.

Akira blinked a few times. She got flashbacks of when she was being attacked.

Hikari walked along the river. She spotted the two.

Akira shivered. It was getting cold. She felt someone watching them.

Shade crept up behind Hikari with a twisted smile that wasn't his own. He attacked her and went for her neck, but Hikari sent a burst of fire and lightning, sending him flying into a tree. "SHADE! WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?!"

Akira quickly turned her head around and saw Shade flying into a tree. Her eyes opened wide.

Shade got up and wiped the almost black blood off of his forehead. Hikari went up to Shade. "Have you lost your f*cking MIND?!" She shouted, full of rage. Her hair had turned snow white, and her eyes turned a bright red. She looked like a vampire without fangs. Shade got up and went to attack her again but Hikari pushed him in the water. Burns on his arm and back where her hands were.

Akira narrowed her eyes. Spite of her injures, she couldn't let Shade get hurt even more, even if he was evil. She stood up and ran towards Hikari. "Stop it!" She yelled.

Shade got up and smiled. "Akira, he's hurting people. He needs to get knocked into sense! Or... do you want me to die, and not defenD myself from him, because if you didn't notice he's TRYING TO F*CKING KILL ME!"


OOC: That's the best thing Hikari's ever said today.

Akira looked down. She needed to find a way to stop Shade without hurting him. She ran up to him and jumped at him, tackling him back into the water. "Turn back to normal! Please Shade!" She begged.

Benjamin jumped up and backed into the shadows. [i]Evil, huh?[i] "maybe he is part of that group..." He muttered to himself.

Shade went and grabbed Akira, restricting her as if to kill her. He knew she wasn't evil. Hikari took Shade and threw him into another tree with a fierce lightning shock. Shade just sat and smiled, bleeding, but healing very fastly. Hikari's eyes turned silver with rage.

Akira looked to Shade. She felt like crying. He didn't even remember her anymore. She looked down as the wind blew her snow white hair around.

Shade disappeared in shadows.

Hikari sighed, her hair going back to the usual brown of her human form. "Now do you understand?" She said. "That side of Shade had never shown before."

"It's that damn Scar.." She muttered, still looking down.

Hikari sighed again. She started walking away.

Benjamin had watched from the shadows the entire fight, slightly surprised by how Shade had handled the situation. What surprised him most, though, was how he had attacked someone on his own side. "Unless... She's a spy..." He muttered before running into the open and taking off into the air.
