Finding Kibō

John had been enjoying a walk through the forest when he heard the yellping of what sounded like a fox in distress. he ran towards the sound what he saw when he got there sickened him to the point of were he vomited. what he saw were the bloody remains of a corsac fox kit stuck in a bear trap it's head was crushed and its brains were everywere and a vixen that he could only assume was the mother stuck in a slip noose trap. John could not even begin to imagine how that vixen felt as she had helplessly watched her kit wander into the bear trap. When he recovered he walked over to the mother, "Shh, shh, I know, I know." Said John as he reached out to try and remove the slip noose from the foxes neck. John reared back a little when the fox snapped at him altho he wasn't suprised, all humans probably smelled the same to this fox. John saw that trying to undo the slip noose by hand was not going to work so he pulled out a 12in Wakizashi or "Suicide Katana" that Luke had forged for him and cut the metal braid connecting the noose to the post stuck in the ground. The fox ran to the kit while John admired the clean cut the Wakizashi had made through the metal braid, then he ran to the bear trap and carefully armed it removed the remains of the kit and then disarmed it. He then turned his attention to the greving mother, he changed into his Kitsune form and walked over to her, "I'm so sorry." Said John telipathiclly. "Why? Why? Why couldn't it have been me?" thought the fox before she passed out. John changed back into his Human form and slung the bear trap over his shoulder then he picked up the fox and the remains of the kit, "Don't worry I'll find who ever did this." John said as he began to walk back home.

Use had been flying in the area when she saw John caring a bear trap. She quickly flew down to investigate

John looked at Rose, a solemn expression on his face, "Poachers." John said, showing her the remains of the kit.

"oh no" Rossetti said flying down with one hand on her mouth and walked with John grabbing his hand "I'm so sorry" she said to him

"When I find whoever did this." John mumbled, his expresion turning to anger.

"don't John" she said stopping and looking at him"it's not worth it"

"Your right we best let the athorities deal with this." Said John, his tone softening.

Rose nodded and continued walking with john

The fox woke up and looked up at John, "Why, Why did you save me?" the fox whined, "Because I'm no poacher." John replied "Now is there anywere in particular you would like me to burry your kit?" John asked the fox, "The nearest tree is fine." the fox replied "Ok then." Said John as he set down the bear trap and walked up to a tree and burried the kit.

Rose watched as John talked with the fox

"I'm so sorry for your loss." Said John, The fox was staring off into the distance, "That was my only daughter, my only kit that didn't die at birth, I swear when I find the monster that did this I'm going to tear his heart out." The fox groweled "I do not blame you for your anger but I can not let you do that." Said John, "I see then I shall have to kill you too!" the fox snarrelled as it jumped at him, John blocked and the fox bit his arm, John yelled in pain.

Rose wacked the fox and grabbed John and flew up out if the foxes reach "don't ever bite him" she said glaring at her

John changed to his Kitsune form and dropped to the ground "I said I could not let you kill the monser that did this, I did not say that they would not be punished, Fox." John groweled, "Do not call me Fox my name is Kibo!" the fox groweled, John sneered "Your name implies very little about you." John snarrelled, "What did you say!" Barked the Kibo as she jummped at him, John jummped at Kibo and a very bloody fight ensued, When it was over John was holding an unconcious Kibo by the scruff, his eyes full of blood lust but it slowly faded.

"John?" asked worriedly floating down she had been up there the whole fight

The light in John eyes flickerd triumphantly then he passed out.

Elevar was walking through the forest because she loved animals when she noticed a bear trape near her foot. "This is not good." She bent down and picked it up.
