Akio walked though Nevermore, looking for a store that someone told him about that sold candy apples. Hikari loved candy apples and Akio wanted to get her one.

Mika was walking around for no reason at all. The city seemed to be empty. She saw a boy walking not to far ahead.

Akio was then pulled into an alleyway.

"W-What?" Mika mumbled as she quickly ran up to see what pulled him in.

"Ack- Let me go!" Akio said struggling to break free. His arms were red with heat, but the stranger didn't let go. Someone grabbed Mika's arms from behind.

"W-What?! What's going on?" She hissed, trying to slip out of the man behind her.

Akio let out a horrible scream as he fell to the floor. He was stabbed in the side. Blood ran out his mouth. He struggled and screamed, until he want cold and limp.

Mika stopped struggling and stared at Akio's dead body. She shivered in fear as she turned her head to the stranger behind her. At that moment, he also stabbed her, but in the chest, slightly grazing her heart. She fell down and closed her eyes, and died soundlessly.
