Continuation of "Death of a Friend"

Draco landed near the doors to the emergency room, Luke got off Draco and picked up Amaya then ran inside, "I need a docter now!" Yelled Luke, moments later a group of nurses and a docter wheeled a gurney to him and he placed Amaya on it.

Ashley had been in windtown, and saw Draco land. What the? she thought as she watched luke carry Amaya into the hospital. The unconscience girl looked familier, but she hadn't seen the boy before.

Luke was told to wait in the waiting room as they wheeled Amaya to a room, Luke sat down to worried to leave his hyper caster form and nobody sat near him because of it.

Akio ran inside.

The doctors tried everything they could to keep Amaya alive.

Ashley then saw Akio and thought, What the heck is going on?, and walked inside.

Luke sat in the waiting room crying, "This is all my fault!" Sobbed Luke

Akio sighed. "How is it you're fault?" He asked. "You didn't do anything."

Luke continued to cry, not even acknoledging Akio existance.

"Okay, what happened?" Ashley said, concerened

"It's all my fault!" Luke continued to sob.

Akio left, knowing he couldn't get through to him.

"God please let her be ok I don't know what I'd do without her." Sobbed Luke.

A couple hours later, Amaya woke up. She was extremely weak and couldn't see very well. They had her on life support.

A doctor told Luke that he could see her now.

OOC: She's gunna die once he leaves... and a good distance away from the town X3

Luke walked into Amaya's room crying, he ran to her bedside and looked her in the eyes, he couldn't stop crying.

Amaya blinked weakly. "Luke, why are you crying? She asked him.

"Because I don't want you to leave me." Luke sobbed as he cradled Amaya's head in his arms then he held her in a long and passionate kiss on the lips.

Amaya pulled away. "Luke... I'm... I-I'm fine." She staggered.

"Are you sure?" Luke asked looking into Amayas eyes.

"Nobody is sure of anything." Amaya said. "The world would be ten times better."

"And that's what worries me, I saw that guy trow you down onto that rock."Said Luke as he hugged her tightly.

"Luke... promise me.... If I die, don't you ever.... ever... forget me..." She said, her eyes sparkling with tears.

"I promise you I won't Amaya." Said Luke as he kissed her on the lips.

A nurse came in and told Luke he had to leave.

"OK I'll leave but if anything happens tell the dragon outside." Luke said to the nurse then he walked back to the river.

Amaya watched him leave, holding onto the last breath of life.
