What happened?

Hikari was at Nevermore Cave with Midnight, her wolf. Midnight kept glaring at the crystals like there was something wrong, and Hikari looked worried.

Lilli had been walking along the trail that led to the cave, enjoying the sights and sounds of the trees and forest around her. It always seemed to calm her down when she was around her element. After a few minutes of strolling, she finally saw the entrance to the cave and Hikari. "What's going on?" She asked as she came up behind the Caster.

"Something's wrong with the crystals." Hikari said, starring at the crystal with Midnight. Midnight started to whine. "It's power dosen't feel right..."

Lilli paused for a moment to try to see what Hikari was talking about, but she could barely feel anything. "I don't really feel it. I guess I'm not as experienced as you are with this kind of thing."

Hikari sighed. "Something's very wrong with the crystals." At that moment, the crystals started dimming.

She carefully watched the crystals with shock. "Okay, I know that's not normal. What's going on?" She asked, hoping someone would know the answer.

"I-I don't know..." Hikari cried. She backed away from the crystal. A purple fog seeped out of the crystals, making it hard to breath. "W-We got to get out of here!" Hikari coughed. She ran for the entrance followed by midnight.

Quickly with some adrenaline already starting to pump through her, Lilli followed Hikari out of the cave away from the fog.

The fog made it hard to see. "Oh no!" She cried. "The fog is going to come out and poison us! We have to seal it for now!"
